Ed & Louise Weller
The roaring twenties were coming to an end and the Nation was only a few years away from the Great Depression; 1927. Edwin Weller had other things on his mind though, namely becoming his own boss by starting a security company in his hometown of Tacoma, Washington and supporting his family; hence the company Pierce County Security was formed. The years passed and PCS maintained its high standards established by Ed Weller.
In 1950, a tragic accident took Ed’s life, and his young wife, Louise, assumed the company. A new era came upon PCS – a woman-owned company in a male dominated era and industry. Louise quickly learned all aspects of the business and continued to deliver the service customers had come to expect. Louise quickly became a keen business manager and PCS prospered. In the early sixties PCS prepared itself for the next generation of leadership: Glen Weller. Under Glen’s guidance the company expanded its range of service. Now an ever-increasing guard force was emerging. Troy Weller joined the company in 1978 and now serves as the vice-president, having participated in all aspects of the business.
The guiding principle for the company and Officers has been; Dependability, Responsibility and Integrity. These virtues have guided our Officers in their duties and the company in its business decisions. The century has now turned and we are entering a new era with the same credo that guided us through the past decades.
